Join the DC Faith Leaders Summit Twitter Chat (#DCFAITH) next Thursday, Feb 7th at 3:00pm.
The #DCFaith Twitter Chat will be a pre-conference chat to get the interfaith community on twitter engaged around challenges and successes of interfaith dialogue, interfaith organizing and engaging youth/young adults.
This chat will be a run up to our first-ever DC Young Adult Faith Leaders Summit on Saturday Feb 9th. The Summit will bring together around 100 young adults (18-35) from diverse faith groups in the DC area to dialogue about their faith traditions, share successes and challenges from their experience mobilizing young people for service, and build relationships within a strong network of supportive allies across communities. DC Mayor Vincent Gray will address the event, along with a keynote speaker from the White House Office of Faith-based & Neighborhood Partnerships. The multimedia project Faith in Action DC, in collaboration with The Interfaith Conference of Metropolitan Washington, are the main organizers of the summit.
Joining the conversation is easy. Just log-in to Twitter at 3pm EST USA on Thursday, Feb 7th, then:
