Hey everybody! My name is Bron and I am a Freshman at WT Woodson High School in Virginia. I was introduced to interfaith understanding by attending my youth group at an Unitarian Universalist church here in Virginia. At my church, everyone is accepts everybody no matter what race they are, what God they worship, or what sexual orientation they are. No one goes there to judge anybody, just to feel a safe sense of community and to reflect on life.
That’s why it shocked me when I recently met some people who weren’t as accepting of others, be it their faith or who they loved. I had always just thought that everyone had their beliefs and didn’t care if other people agreed with them, or not.
When it finally dawned on me that this was not the case, I came here because I wanted to write down my thoughts on these issues where other people could read what I wrote and reflect or debate. Besides writing about political and social issues from an interfaith point of view, I also enjoy writing about technology and the liberal arts.

Are these people you are talking about Unitarian Universalists?
Be assured that many Unitarian Universalists are not nearly as tolerant or accepting of “others” as you might wish to believe.
No I was not actually talking about UUs. Can you elaborate on what you mean when you say that some UUs aren’t as accepting?
